The Chopping Block are caterers at a number of exclusive use wedding venues, as well as for a wide variety of functions throughout the year including large corporate events, private outside parties, and festivals.
We are always looking to find really good full and part-time professional people to work alongside us. We offer excellent rates of pay and provide in-house training to ensure we deliver excellent customer service. Whether you are a student, looking for a second job or want something to fit around your family life, we have various shifts including afternoons, evenings and weekends.
N.B: Many of the sites are in rural locations and will require you to have your own transport.
Venue locations – Warwickshire, Hertfordshire , Northamptonshire, and Norfolkshire
Our Current Requirements:
Waiting Staff
£7.50 per hour for under 21’s and new members of staff under 25. New starters over 25 £7.90.
£8.50 for more experienced staff
We are looking for experienced staff to assist in the service of three-course, banquet style meals and drinks service. Individuals should be flexible and willing to be multi-functional with a desire to provide an impeccable, friendly and professional service. Other duties will include supporting colleagues at busy times, cleaning, washing up, and associated tasks. Minimum four-hour shifts.
Full training is provided.
Bar Staff
£7.50 per hour for under 21’s and new members of staff under 25. New starters over 25 £7.90.
£8.50 for more experienced staff
We are looking for experienced bar staff who have a good product knowledge and who are able to efficiently mix, serve and take payment for drinks, and can also quickly develop a rapport with customers.
